Alaska Streamflow Statistics
Flood Frequency, Low-Flow Frequency, and Flow Duration Studies

The USGS has computed peak, high-duration, and low-duration streamflow statistics for streamflow-gaging stations in Alaska and conterminous basins of Canada. These statistics, gaging-station basin characteristics, and regional regression equations developed from them for estimating streamflow at ungaged sites are available from the links at top. A complete description of the methods of analysis and results is available as USGS Water-Resources Investigations Report 03-4114 (high and low flows) and USGS Water-Resources Investigations Report 03-4188 (peak flows).

Streamflow Record Extension

The USGS has approved streamflow record extension data for selected gaged streams in the Susitna River Basin. The data and an accompanying report detailing the methods of analysis and accurracy of the estimated discharges are available as USGS Scientific Investigations Report 2012-5210.
